The First Meeting of China-Saudi Arabia Business Council and Promotion Conference of Investment and Trade Opportunities in Saudi Arabia were held in Beijing on September 27. Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Chen Zhou, and Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to China Turki Almadi attended and addressed the meeting.
Chen Zhou said, he hoped the business council can conduct research on the economy and trade of Saudi Arabia, organize more trade and investment promotion events, beef up policy coordination, jointly creating a more stable business environment.
Turki said, he expected the business council can further promotion exchange visits of Saudi and Chinese business communities and enhance the level of bilateral economic and trade cooperation.
Sany Group was elected as the Chair of China-Saudi Arabia Business Council, while China Gezhouba Group Corporation (CGGC), China MCC5 Group Corporation, Ltd, TEDA Investment Holding Co., Ltd, Wuhan Marine Machinery Plant Co., Ltd and TBEA Energy elected as the deputy chairs.
Around 300 business council delegates were in attendance.
