Chairperson of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Gao Yan met with Jean Lemierre, Co-Chairman of France-China Committee (Comité France Chine CFC) in Paris on October 26.
Lemierre expressed his hope for both sides to step up communication and understanding based on the good partnership between CFC and CCPIT, and innovate in cooperation models by holding various forms of trade promotion activities and understanding companies’ demands and concerns so as to solve the difficulties facing SMEs in collaboration.
Gao Yan reviewed the cooperation between the two organizations and noted that CCPIT is willing to work harder with CFC in building cooperation mechanism and support each other’s efforts to hold trade promotion events. She also expressed her hope that both sides conduct practical cooperation under the “Belt and Road” framework, maintain regular exchanges and pay attention to key industries and emerging industries in order to understand and address issues of common concern to companies of both sides.
Also present at the meeting are heads of CCPIT Department of Development Research and International Relations.
