China Convention & Exhibition Industry International Trade Forum, a sideline event of the first China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held in Shanghai on November 6. Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Lu Pengqi attended and addressed the forum.
Lu Pengqi noted, the convention and exhibition industry has seen a boom by favor of the rapid development of technological and industrial revolution. Lu made three proposals. First is to practice new ideas. Second is to acquire new development trend. Third is to continue to explore new business models.
The forum was co-hosted by World Trade Point Federation (WTPF) and Italian Trade Fairs & Exhibitions Association (AEFI). More than 500 participants from convention and exhibition industry from home and abroad participated in the forum.
