Vice Chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) Chen Zhou led a delegation to 14th Session of Cuba-China Bilateral Business Committee held in Havana on December 5. The meeting was jointed hosted by CCPIT and Chamber of Commerce of the Republic of Cuba (CCRC). It was attended by Chinese ambassador to Cuba Chen Xi, CCRC President Orlando Hernandez and high official from the Cuban export and investment promotion agency ProCuba.
Chen Zhou said in his speech that China and Cuba enjoy a special friendship. Since the establishment of China-Cuba Bilateral Business Committee in 2003, it has great influences on the governments and business communities of both countries. More practical events will be organized by the committee to facilitate China-Cuba bilateral trade and economic ties.
During the meeting, Chen Zhou signed Joint 2019 Action Plan for China-Cuba Bilateral Business Committee with CCRC and a cooperation memorandum with ProCuba respectively on behalf of CCPIT. Over 200 representatives from the Chinese and Cuban business community attended the session and the following B2B meeting.
